Welcome to my site,What you will find here is a sample of some of my most recent work which I will try keep updated as best as possible. In the past I have specialized mostly in horse portraiture but currently I am venturing into other subjects , namely Nguni cattle and jockeys in racing silks. Both of these subjects appeal to me because of their colours, markings and patterning which introduce an interesting and somewhat more abstract element to an otherwise formal subject. I am also in some way wanting to merge the nostalgia of traditional racing art and English portraiture, natural history illustration and an African aesthetic. In time I will broaden my choice of subject , my style of working and my ideas and theories of why I do it.
